BlazeByte guides are written for people who run paid media and need their numbers to be right. This page explains how we write them and how we keep them accurate.
Written by practitioners
Our guides are written by the people who set up, audit and fix Analytics, Conversion Tracking and paid media accounts for clients. They describe what we check in real accounts, not what a platform says in its marketing. Each guide names its author and shows the date it was published.
Every platform claim is cited
When a guide says how Google Ads, GA4, Meta or another platform behaves, it links to that platform’s own documentation. Each guide lists its sources and the date we checked them. We put a phrase in quotation marks only when it matches the source word for word.
Updated when platforms change
Platforms rename settings and change defaults often. When a change affects a guide, we update the guide. The Updated date appears only when the content has changed, never when a page is simply saved again.
Real client examples
Client examples come from real engagements. They are anonymized unless the client approved being named, as in our published case studies. Every figure is labeled as measured, client-reported or modeled.
No paid placements
No company pays to be mentioned, linked or recommended in our guides. When a guide names a tool or platform, it is because the topic requires it.
Corrections
If you find an error, email [email protected]. We check it against the source and correct the guide.
